The first section of the trail is quite steep, and some sections are rocky, so take care and wear shoes with good grip Take the paved Yellow Springs Trail for a quarter mile to reach the start of the Mount Misery Trail. 15 minutes later the climb towards the summit (700m) begins and the trail gets significantly steeper
